Financing questions, answered straight
Is the 0% financing really 0% interest?
Yes, on the promotions that offer it. The current Carrier program is 0% APR with 60 equal monthly payments on qualifying new systems through Wells Fargo. Deferred-interest plans work differently: you pay no interest if the balance is paid in full inside the promotional period, so we always show you the payment that clears it in time. All financing is subject to credit approval.
Which lenders do you work with?
Service Finance, Synchrony, and Wells Fargo. Which programs are available depends on the equipment manufacturer, so the best option on a Lennox system is not always the best option on a Carrier system. We tell you which one costs you less.
Do I need a down payment?
Not on a financed install. We collect a 50% deposit on installs paid another way and on repairs, but when you finance, the signed loan documents take the place of the deposit.
Can I finance a repair, or only a new system?
Repairs over $1,000 can be financed. Below that, financing is not available, but the $89 diagnostic and the repair price are given to you in writing before any work starts.
What would the monthly payment look like?
On a deferred-interest plan, the payment that clears the balance in time is straightforward math. A $10,000 project is about $1,667 a month over 6 months, $833 over 12, or $556 over 18. A $15,000 project is about $2,500, $1,250, or $833 across the same terms. The 0% APR and 120-month programs spread that much further.
Will applying affect my credit?
Every program here is subject to credit approval, so the lender will check your credit as part of the application. The lender sets the approval decision, the rate, and the term, not us. If one program does not work out, we will tell you what the others look like.
